Stable News

Thursday 4th January 2018

We’ve been all over the island of late picking up some sterling results on our travels. Back at Timaru on the 28th our sole starter Pendleton had to be the run of the day with an exceptional win under Jason Laking. She blew them away over 2100m to score by 4 lengths at the line.

We headed to Kurrow Saturday for their annual meeting, and a great day they turned on. Cardrona second up put in another solid effort for 2nd place with Chris Johnson, and Los Cabos was very unlucky not to get up for the win after an awkward start left her at the tail of the field. A huge effort from the horse and a great ride from Laking saw her come from the back to within a head of the winner.

Lily Grecia fought on strongly for 3rd at the new years day Waikouaiti meeting before it was unfortunately abandoned.

The coast circuit is next where we will have a couple of horses to attend but no runners this weekend. Good luck on the punt and happy new year to you all.

Welcome to the New Year!

A bit of a new years day hug between these two Valachi girls Tatum and Lily Grecia.
